Chris Eby

Chris was born and raised in Elkton, MI, which is a small town located in Huron County, better known as the “Thumb” of Michigan. A Veteran of the U.S.M.C., Chris also served as a corrections officer, insurance agent, and U.S.P.S. letter carrier before joining the AMSA, Inc. staff. Chris’ strong customer service skills have made him a valuable member of the AMSA, Inc. team.  In his free time, you will find Chris working in his garage custom building cornhole boards, making metal signs on a state of the art CNC plasma table, and spending time with friends and family.

Janice Shawl

Janice was born in Saginaw, Michigan and raised in Flint, Michigan.  She attended Michigan State University earning a double major in elementary education and special education for teaching hearing-impaired students.  She attended Central Michigan University to add an endorsement for teaching students with mental impairments.

She later earned a Master’s Degree for teaching reading and writing.  In her career in education, Janice moved into school administration and served as the Special Education Coordinator at Midland Public Schools before leaving her school career in 2011.  Janice is a principle stockholder of AMSA, Inc. and has worked with AMSA part-time since it was founded in 1996.  She joined AMSA full time in July of 2011.  Her experience in school administration served her well for overseeing the operations of AMSA.  Janice also serves as the director of Marketing and Sales.  Janice is an avid skier in the winter months and enjoys walking as exercise in the summer.  She is rekindling her love of music by studying the piano and taking voice lessons.
